The community speaks

“From a pure infrastructure perspective, the true beauty in using BladeCenter servers is that it’s extremely easy to scale up our environment without complicating network connections, SAN connections or power cabling....Being able to scale up by 14 blade servers with a ‘single box’ makes a huge difference in an ever-changing environment like the gaming industry.”

- Kristjan Kristjansson, technical lead of the EVE Online infrastructure, CCP Games

"Using our IBM BladeCenter HPC solution, we can complete some simulations up to seven times faster than we could with our legacy systems."

- Jens Christian Bennetsen, Project Director, Ramboll

"By replacing our existing switches with IBM RackSwitch G8264 switches using IBM BladeCenter Virtual Fabric, we have minimized complexity and latency."

- Are Hoel, Senior Systems Administrator, The Online Backup Company

"The BladeCenter portfolio offers class-leading performance and energy efficiency. While these were very important factors in this project, it was the versatility of the chassis and switches that made the difference along with compatibility with existing network components."

- Dirk Hallen, business owner, DHDS

"The savings are phenomenal on power. BladeCenter offers such an efficient package."

- Patrick Fitzgerald, Managing Director, i-Layer
