What you can do

It's not often enterprises (and individuals) have the opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to society while at the same time accruing significant benefits for themselves. This happens to be one of those opportunities. The economic advantages for businesses, both large and small—and even governments and people—to "go green" are enormous. Not only are energy efficient technology and processes good for their own sake, but they enable most enterprises to realize dramatic cost savings.

This goes to the root of "sustainable development." Economic prosperity and environmental protection must go hand-in-hand. And often, when you improve the efficiency of a product or process, you also improve the environment. It's a win/win situation for companies and society as a whole.
