- Original Equipment Manufactures
Develop and deliver branded technology offerings across a geographic arera utilizing their own sales and distribution channels. These solutions are based on IBM and non-IBM technology. The firm sells out under a private label with value-added and is responsible for all marketing and sales, service and support of Solution. IBM provides parts exchange and L3 defect support warranty for IBM products and Programs in the Solution.
- Firms offering Embedded Solutions
Develop and market integrated industry solution(s) which include their intellectual property as a differentiator for their solution and where the primary motivation of the end user is to purchase the industry solution. The hardware cannot be sold without the solution and the solution may be private label or IBM branded.
