WebSphere Application Server for z/OS

Abstract: With the release of WebSphere Application Server for z/OS Version 7.0 comes a new and improved tool for the customization and migration of the runtime environments. The new tool is called the "WCT" (WebSphere Customization Tools). WCT is a workstation tool (Windows or Linux) based on Eclipse, and within the WCT are two functions -- the PMT for the customization and creation of the WebSphere z/OS runtime; and the MMT for the customization of the jobs used to migrate a runtime to V7.

This presentation is intended to introduce the reader to the tool, and to position the key concepts of the tool so the tool can be effectively used for a WebSphere for z/OS Version 7.0 environment.

Presentation in Powerpoint Format
Here is the presentation in its native Powerpoint format. The slides do have speaker notes under each page.
