Abstract: This paper describes the performance testing conducted with the IBM Storwize V7000 storage system, IBM POWER7 processor-based servers, and JDA Demand and JDA Fulfillment applications in Rockville, MD June 2013. This paper also provides some configuration recommendations for similar environments.

Note that the guidance provided in this paper is applicable to several IBM storage products in addition to the IBM Storwize V7000 storage system. The term IBM Storwize family is used to include the IBM Storwize V7000 storage system, IBM Storwize V7000 Unified, IBM Storwize V3700, and IBM Flex System V7000 Storage Node, and IBM System Storage SAN Volume Controller (SVC).
