Abstract
IBM introduced WebSphere Optimized Local Adapters ( WOLA ) in WebSphere Application Server V7 for z/OS. WOLA provides cross-memory local communications between WebSphere Application Server for z/OS and external address spaces such as CICS, IMS, batch programs, Unix Systems Services (USS) programs, and the Airline Control System (ALCS).In this Techdoc we supply a set of Rexx programs that invoke the WOLA APIs providing another option for developing applications that take advantage of WOLA.
