Abstract: This document is intended for IBM i technical professionals interested in implementing a PowerHA environment for the JD Edwards World applications. It describes the process used to configure a PowerHA environment on external disk storage (IBM Storwize V7000) and for migrating a WebSphere Express and JD Edwards World installation to an independent auxiliary storage pool (IASP) to enable metro mirroring, and the use of flash copy for backup operations.
