Abstract: The goal is to be able to perform a health check on a z/OS system when you do not know the configuration of the host or WebSphere. Performing a health check is the first step when trying to diagnose a performance problem. This document will detail tools and tactics to determine the health of the system as it pertains to WebSphere Application Server with a slant towards increasing performance.
