Abstract: The purpose of this paper is to assist those who are looking to implement Oracle Database 11g Release 2 with Oracle (RAC) on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 (RHEL5) running on IBM BladeCenter® servers and IBM System Storage™ products using a multipath configuration instead of ASMLib. The information provided herein is based on experiences with test environments at the IBM Oracle International Competency Center, and is based on available documentation from IBM, Oracle, and Red Hat.
