Abstract: In order to more easily manage the configuration information for IBM's Operations Manager for z/VM, the configuration files and automation EXECs may be placed in a Shared File System (SFS). This allows multiple people to make updates to different files at the same time. This paper provides the steps and examples necessary to implement SFS in support of these Operations Manager for z/VM files.
