Abstract: The IBM Oracle International Competency Center (ICC) executed tests to compare the performance of i 6.1 and i 5.4 in a JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 9.0 environment on an IBM Power Systems platform. The tests, utilizing Oracle’s robust “Day in the Life” (DIL) kit for web users, showed a 5.4% reduction in CPU utilization running i 6.1 versus i 5.4.
