| Abstract: In this paper, we introduced an ILM solution for ECM system using HSM, GPFS and SVC. The key product in this solution is HSM, which is a policy based space management tool. It can move inactive data from Tier1 storage to Tier2, then Tier3 storage, based on customized policy. The second product is GPFS. It provides a high performance file system which enables backup/archive/recall jobs utilizing LAN free techniques. The last key product is SVC. It creates uniform storage pool among heterogeneous storage products. |
