Abstract: This guide provides design, configuration, and planning information for implementing Microsoft SQL Server 2008™ with IBM System Storage™ arrays. We will cover some of the new storage-related features of IBM System Storage™ arrays, and how they impact your decisions when you deploy and manage a large SQL Server 2008 environment. The specific focus of this paper will be on the DS4000, new DS5000, and the DS8000 series arrays.
