Abstract: This document is a step by step guide to provisioning Microsoft Windows Server 2008 with xCAT. We show how it is possible to provision thousands of machines with simple command line tools. We show how to do this with iSCSI and how to do this with xCAT's ImageX support. xCAT is an IBM sponsored open source tool for cloud computing. xCAT can deploy Linux, Windows, AIX faster than any other management tool on the planet.
