Abstract: This document describes a Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 storage solution for 32,000 users on the IBM System Storage™ SAN Volume Controller and IBM System Storage™ DS8100 and DS4800 arrays. The mailboxes in this solution were configured in two different sizes, 2,000 at 2GB and 30,000 as 512MB. Testing was conducted in accordance with the Microsoft Exchange Solution Reviewed Program (ESRP) – Storage program standards. The ESRP – Storage program was developed by Microsoft Corporation to provide a common storage testing framework for vendors to provide information on their storage solutions for Microsoft Exchange Server software.
