Abstract: This document provides the technical information necessary to successfully install NetBackup 6.0 on an Exchange server. Specifically, you will install an instant and efficient backup solution for Microsoft Exchange server 2003 databases using the IBM® DS3000™, DS4000™, & DS5000™ series storage subsystem’s premium features and Symantec’s Veritas NetBackup version 6.0™. The resulting solution will minimize the application backup window as well as system resource utilization on the host server running Exchange.
