Abstract: SPNEGO, or the Simple and Protected GSSAPI Negotiation Mechanism, enables a straightforward single sign-on (SSO) environment for WebSphere in Microsoft Active Directory environments. This document is intended to provide complete and verbose instructions to properly configure SPNEGO for WebSphere Application Server in basic and clustered configurations. It is meant to be a ‘quick-start’ guide, providing the minimum steps required to get up and running quickly.
