Abstract: This paper provides performance information on the IBM® TotalStorage® Virtual Tape Server (VTS), Models B10 (VTS B10) and B20 (VTS B20) with the IBM® TotalStorage® 3592 Tape Drive Model J1A (3592). As shown in this paper, use of the 3592 drives can result in improved VTS performance when compared to configurations using IBM TotalStorage 3590 Tape Drives.
