Abstract: In October 2003, IBM and PeopleSoft conducted a benchmark in Beaverton, Oregon to measure the online performance of PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne ERP 8.0 with IBM DB2 Universal Database for AIX 8.1 Fix Pak 4 on a 16-way IBM eServer pSeries p670 server, running IBM AIX 5.2.0. Ten IBM eServer pSeries p650 servers were used as PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne application servers and Web-Sphere servers. These highly successful tests established a new record for concurrently active users of the PeopleSoft EnterpriseOne product by running 16,699 users at 0.58 seconds average response time.
