Abstract: WebSphere Application Server Version 8.5 for z/OS provides the equivalent "Batch" function that was previously part of the "IBM WebSphere Extended Deployment Compute Grid for z/OS" product.
One of the z/OS exclusive capabilities is to provide for Charge-back accounting records for "Job Usage." This document provides guidance and examples for recording these job usage statistics, and displayed with some sample programs.

The SMF type 120, subtypes 9 and 20 for Job Usage can now be displayed in the Detailed report of the SMF Browser sample program.
