Abstract: The following are the release notes from PowerHA SystemMirror for AIX v6.1 release notes for the Standard Edition, Enterprise Edition, and the Smart Assists.

Please note that the in the Enterprise Edition (XD) release notes it states that AIX 6.1 is required for the new EMC SRDF support. That is incorrect as indeed both AIX 5.3 and 6.1 are supported with the same bare minimum requisites as the base code of: AIX 5.3 TL 9, with RSCT 2.4.12.0 or AIX 6.1 TL 2 with RSCT 2.5.4.0
