Abstract: Live Partition Mobility demo of an SAP/Oracle/PowerHA environment

This was conducted in 2010 but I accidentally let the previous Techdoc expire and didn't notice until someone brought it to my attention it was no longer available. This was part of a customer proof of concept (POC) performed in our Dallas Benchmark Center. These exact levels were not current at the time of the POC, but were used at the customers request to match their environment. The environment consisted of: AIX 5.3 TL11 SP2 PowerHA 5.5 SP4 SAP ECC 5.0 Oracle10.2.0.4 VIOS 2.1.2.10-FP22 HMCv7R7.1.0.1 We use LPARmon and SAP load generator to both generate a load and show the performance load change during the LPM.
