Abstract: Abstract: This lab guide was created by ATS Americas for technically-oriented members of the sales community who wish to understand more about how the DS Storage Manager works, and for those interested in using this tool to demonstrate capabilities of the DS Storage Manager to customers. You will configure a storage subsystem including creating arrays, LUNs, and hot spare drives; view and change cache block size settings; increase arrays and LUN capacities; change RAID levels and Segment sizes; and more. When the DS Storage Manager Simulator is learned, the same principles can be applied to and leveraged for any of the DS Storage Manager Simulator versions (DS3000, DS4000 and DS5000).
