Abstract: Abstract: Insight for Oracle Database v2.x
This software will capture performance statistics provided by a production Oracle 10g (or above) database. The captured statistics are written to the hard drive of a Windows PC dedicated for the collection process. When the collection process is complete, the statistical data is verified and compressed before being sent to IBM for analysis. A report will be sent by IBM to the customer detailing how the production database was utilized. The provided data collection tool is designed to have a minimal impact on the production database environment.
The data collection tool is packaged as a Windows install image for convenient installation on a Win2000/WinXP PC.
README documentation is packaged with the software.

This tool only supports Oracle 10g (and above)
This tool does not support Oracle 9 (or below)
Insight for Oracle DB tool is used to capture statistics for the Database Server only. If you are interested in getting a sizing done for your application then a sizing questionnaire must also be provided to IBM. You can download the appropriate sizing questionnaire from www.ibm.com/erp/sizing
