Abstract: This presentation was originally presented at SHARE, held in Boston, in August of 2005. The purpose of the presentation is to offer a high-level conceptual view of what's needed to move a WebSphere for z/OS Version 6 node from one MVS image to another. (You can't simply start it on the other MVS image because of system name and IP host references in the configuration XML.) This presentation is a shorter version of the WP100542 white paper on Techdocs, which is 96 pages long and very detailed. This offers a format for the topic that's a bit more approachable, though not as detailed.
