Abstract: This is the Getting Started page for those interested in using IBM's Processor Capacity Reference (zPCR) to capacity plan for IBM Z and LinuxONE processors. It includes links for accessing related educational materials and downloading the tool itself. |
If the tabs of this notebook don't work for you, try this version of the document.
Note: If your currently installed zPCR version is older than C9.0, it MUST be uninstalled prior to installing zPCR C9.3 (package includes Java). This is necessary to facilitate conversion to the new IBM Java v8 64-bit runtime environment that is required for zPCR.
To review the zPCR C9.3 NEWS file, click on What's New below.
zPCR is an "as is" tool, but there is limited technical support. Use this section to learn more about the technical support provided.
Limited Defect Support:
- Because of zPCR's status as an "as is" tool, defect support is not provided via the normal IBM support structure. Instead users wishing to report problems with the tool's operation can send an email to:
- Defect support will not be staffed on a 24/7 basis. Responses to defect inquiries will be made on a best effort basis, normally within 2 business days.
- zPCR is officially supported under Windows 10/8/7 64-bit.
