WebSphere for z/OS Version 5.1 -- Planning for Disaster Recovery
Washington Systems Center
Abstract: All the information for a WebSphere for z/OS configuration is contained within the "Configuration HFS." It's possible to copy that HFS from one Sysplex environment to another and bring the configuration up there. That's the idea behind "Disaster Recovery" planning. But copying the Configuration HFS may not be enough -- there may be difference on the Target Sysplex that require changes to the information in the WebSphere configuration. This presentation explains what's involved with planning for recovery of a WebSphere for z/OS configuration on another Sysplex environment.
