FAQ: What is the operating voltage for the Power 720 and 740 servers?

Answer to this FAQ:

The operating voltage for the Power 720: 100 to 127 or 200 to 240 V ac

The operating voltage for the Power 740: 200 to 240 V ac

These requirements should not pose a problem when configuring rack mounted servers in IBM racks. However, when configuring a Power 740 with the tower form factor, please note that standard 110V power provided in the wall socket does not support the server.
