FAQ: When placing a System p 570 into a 7014-T42 rack, are there any limitations?
Answer to this FAQ:
The p5 570 can be configured with 1 to 4 building blocks. If configured with more than one building block, all building blocks must be installed in a continuous space because of the cabling used to connect the building blocks. The T42 rack has an obstruction at rack position 37 which interferes with the model 570 cabling, therefore multi building block configurations must be placed below position 37.
Also, if no front door is configured, the thin profile rack kit must be ordered. This is true for the T00 rack also. The older trim kit interferes with the front bezel on the model 570.
