FAQ: Do the p5 models 520 and 550 come standard with an integrated external SCSI port?

Answer to this FAQ:

The System p5 models 520 and 550 do not come standard with an integrated external SCSI port. However, there is an option to convert one of the two internal ports on the integrated SCSI controller to an external port. This is feature code = 4270 or 4275 on the model 520, feature code = 4273 on the model 550 and 52A, and feature code = 4275 on the model 52A. Please note that when these features are configured, there is no option to provide a second internal disk 4-pack. Also, this option uses one of the PCI slots.
