Oracle; Oracle RAC; Oracle Database

Abstract: The main objective of this Flash is to update the reader on the fact that Oracle does not require certification of storage blocks any longer. This specific option is no longer on the certification list, nor will there be there similar listing of vendor specific storage technology from other vendors, including IBM. If there is still some documentation on the internet claiming otherwise, it is most likely outdated information.
