Abstract: Several exciting new enhancements to IBM z/OS Management Facility V1.13 (5655-S28) are available through several APARs which are designed to improve usability and to extend the management capabilities of z/OSMF in new directions. These enhancements deliver a number of incremental capabilities since the release of
z/OSMF V1.13 announced July 12th, 2011. (Announcement letter 211-242). Collectively, these enhancements continue to drive simplification and usability into the many tasks the system programmer performs.
These capabilities represent part of the continued cadence of z/OSMF to deliver increased flexibility and functional capability that system programmers need as they find themselves managing increasingly complex configurations.
