| Abstract: The routing of “synchronous WTOR” messages to consoles is under the control of the SYNCHDEST parameter for each z/OS system. An understanding of how these messages are routed can be very important to help ensure that the messages will be visible to the appropriate operations staff when they are issued. This Flash will explain the processing of synchronous WTORs and the availability implications associated with them, using a particular Parallel Sysplex example. However, the concepts discussed are generally applicable to any synchronous WTOR message. |
