IBM PowerHA SystemMirror for AIX* (formerly HACMP*) V5.4.1, V5.5, V6.1, and V7.1 for AIX V5.3, V6.1 and V7.1 adds support for the IBM Power 750 (8233-E8B).
It is recommended to obtain the latest service updates for this support.

Notes:
- Built-in serial ports in POWER7 servers are not available for PowerHA use. It is suggested to use disk heartbeating instead.
- Built-in Ethernet (IVE) adapters are supported for PowerHA use.
- Information on POWER7 server support with HACMP V5.3, which is currently supported only via extended support agreement, is provided in information APAR IZ77613, available online via IBM support: http://www.ibm.com/support
