IBM* PowerHA* (formerly HACMP*) for AIX*, Versions 5.3, 5.4.1, and 5.5 adds support for the IBM BladeCenter* JS23 (model 7778-23X) and
JS43 (model 7778-43X).
It is recommended to obtain the latest service updates for this support.

Notes:
- IBM supports the JS23 and JS43 with the QLogic combo Ethernet and 4 Gb Fibre Channel Expansion Card (FC 8241 and 8252)
- Built-in Ethernet adapters are supported for PowerHA use. This includes Integrated Virtual Ethernet (IVE).
- Integrated Virtualization Manager (IVM) is also supported.
Restriction Notes
· PowerHA does not support the BladeCenter JS23 or JS43 in combination with Solid State Drives (SSD). IBM intends to remove this restriction in a future product release.
