Abstract: IBM* PowerHA* for AIX* (formerly HACMP*), Versions 5.3, 5.4.1, and 5.5 expands support to include the IBM Power Systems 560 (8234-EMA).

It is recommended to obtain the latest service updates for this support. Please refer to the following table for details. IBM intends to remove this restriction in a future Service Pack (this feature restriction removed in PowerHA v5.5). Notes: Built-in serial ports in POWER6* servers are not available for PowerHA use. Disk heartbeating should be used instead. Built-in Ethernet adapters are supported for PowerHA use. This includes IVE. Note: Orders will be accepted in the eConfig system effective November 25, 2008.
