Abstract: IBM* PowerHA Cluster Manager for AIX* (formerly HACMP*), Versions 5.3 and 5.4.1 now expands support to include the IBM Power™ 595 (9119-FHA). This support does include the new integrated virtual ethernet (IVE) feature.

PowerHA (HACMP) supports IBM Power 595 (9119-FHA) June 6, 2008 / August 14, 2008 update IBM* PowerHA Cluster Manager for AIX* (formerly HACMP*), Versions 5.3 and 5.4.1 now expands support to include the IBM Power* 595 (9119-FHA). This support extends to attached Feature Code 5797 and 5791 I/O drawers. It is recommended to obtain the latest service updates for this support. Please refer to the following table for details. Restriction notes for CoD/DLPAR: HACMP does not support CoD/DLPAR on POWER6* processors. IBM intends to remove this restriction in a future Service Pack. (this feature added/restriction remove in PowerHA v5.5) Notes: o Built-in serial ports in Power 6 servers are not available for PowerHA use. Disk heartbeating should be used instead. o Built-in Ethernet adapters are supported for PowerHA use.
