Abstract: HACMP v5.3 and v5.4 announcement of support for AIX 6.1

HACMP V5.3 and V5.4 support on AIX V6.1 November 6, 2007 The IBM High Availability Cluster Multi-Processing (HACMP) for AIX software product supports AIX V6.1 with HACMP V5.3 and V5.4. Please refer to the following table for solution offering details and following restrictions. It is recommended to obtain the latest service updates for this support. Note: TL = Technology Level Software HACMP V5.3 HACMP V5.4 AIX V6.1 HACMP V5.3 SP 6 (#IZ07791+) HACMP V5.4.1 (#IZ02620) + This APAR is not yet generally available. Restrictions: HACMP/XD:HAGEO and SVCPPRC are not yet supported on AIX V6.1 for HACMP V5.3 and 5.4. IBM intends to remove these restrictions in an upcoming Service Pack. HACMP Smart Assists are not yet supported on AIX V6.1 for HACMP V5.3 and V5.4. IBM intends to remove these restrictions in an upcoming Service Pack.
