HACMP support update: SDDPCM support

July 28, 2006

SDDPCM is a Subsystem Device Driver Path Control Module for IBM System Storage DS8000 and DS6000 in Multi-Path IO (MPIO) environments, running on an IBM System p* server. All current supported releases of IBM High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing (HACMP*) for AIX 5L* support SDDPCM, starting from SDDPCM v2.1.0.8, configured to access the shared disks with the "no_reserve" reserve policy. The shared disks must be defined as being in an Enhanced Concurrent Mode (ECM) volume group. Persistent reserve policy is not supported in an HACMP environment.
