Abstract: HACMP 5.2 and 5.3 supports the new 1 Gigabit iSCSI TOE PCI-X

June 30, 2006 IBM High Availability Cluster Multiprocessing (HACMP*) for AIX 5L*, Version 5.2 and Version 5.3 now expands support to include the 1 Gigabit-SX iSCSI TOE PCI-X adapter (optical connector), FC 5714 and 1987, and the 1 Gigabit-TX iSCSI TOE PCI-X adapter (copper connector), FC 5713 and 1986. The iSCSI TOE adapter is an adapter that encapsulates SCSI commands and data into TCP packets, transporting them over a 1 Gigabit Ethernet network through IP.
