Abstract: HACMP supports 2-Port Asynchronous EIA-232 PCI adapter

HACMP supports 2-Port Asynchronous EIA-232 PCI adapter May 24, 2005 IBM High Availability Cluster MultiProcessing (HACMP*) for AIX 5L* (HACMP Version 5.1 and V5.2, 5765-F62) now expands support to include the 2-Port Asynchronous EIA*-232 PCI adapter (#5723). This adapter provides two asynchronous ports, supporting EIA-232 protocols at up to 128K bps. The 2-Port Asynchronous EIA-232 PCI adapter is compatible with a broad range of asynchronous serial peripheral devices and offers easy integration into any computing environment that requires widespread or remote connections. Service updates are required for this added support. Please refer to the following table for the details.
