EGL Community Edition requires one of the following Java Runtime Environments:
• Sun JRE 6
• IBM JRE 6.0

Applications developed with EGL Community Edition can be accessed with the following Web browsers:

• Mozilla Firefox 3.0 and 3.5
• Google Chrome 2.0

Applications developed with EGL Community Edition can integrate with the following databases:
• IBM DB2 Express-C 9.7
• MySQL 5.1
• Derby 10.5

Web services developed with EGL Community Edition can run on the following application server:
• Apache Tomcat 6.0 with Axis 1.4

Note: the requirements listed above represent the software tested by IBM with EGL Community Edition. Other software products and versions may also work, but have not been specifically tested.
EGL Community Edition requires:
• 300 MB hard disk space (minimum)
• 512 MB memory (recommended)
• 1024x768 display resolution (minimum)
