IBM® SPSS® Neural Networks software offers nonlinear data modeling procedures that enable you to discover more complex relationships in your data. The software lets you set the conditions under which the network learns. You can control the training stopping rules and network architecture, or let the procedure automatically choose the architecture for you.

With SPSS Neural Networks software, you can develop more accurate and effective predictive models.

The multilayer perceptron procedure produces a predictive model for one or more dependent (target) variables based on values of the predictor variables. In this example, we are building a model to predict churn.

The importance chart is simply a bar chart of the values in the importance table, sorted in descending value of importance.

The classification table shows the practical results of using the network. For each case, the predicted response is Yes if that case's predicted pseudo-probability is greater than 0.5.
