- Supports Web Services Description Language (WSDL) loading and Representational State Transfer (REST) services.
- Allows you to link and customize lifecycles in both WebSphere Service Registry and Repository and IBM Rational® Asset Manager.
Visualization of services and dependencies
- Provides a graphical view of the consumers and providers of a service.
- Offers governance policy validator (GPV) messages to help you identify corrective actions more quickly.
- Provides preview capabilities, allowing you to see more details about an object without having to click through to its detail view.
- Includes tabular business intelligence and reporting tools (BIRT) reports and detail views, helping you to more easily construct complex data queries.
Integration with other IBM solutions
- Integrates with enterprise service bus (ESB) products such as IBM WebSphere Message Broker, IBM WebSphere DataPower® and IBM WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus.
- Supports authoring and management of service-level agreements (SLAs), which can be enforced by WebSphere DataPower appliances.
- Exchanges service information with runtime monitoring tools and operational data stores, including IBM Tivoli® Composite Application Manager for SOA and IBM Tivoli Change and Configuration Management Database.
- Helps enable governance and lifecycle management of customer applications such as IBM WebSphere MQ and IBM CICS®.
