IBM WebSphere MQ Telemetry étend le réseau principal de messagerie universelle IBM WebSphere MQ à toute une gamme de périphériques mobiles, de capteurs distants, d'actionneurs et d'autres dispositifs de télémétrie. Il utilise le protocole MQTT (MQ Telemetry Transport) pour transporter des messages robustes mêmes aux périphériques les plus petits afin de permettre un échange de données quasi-instantané.
