Create compelling visualizations to communicate analytic results

IBM® SPSS® Visualization Designer enables you to develop and share customized data visualizations, from simple charts to advanced graphics. The solution makes the creation of data visualizations accessible to non-technical users. With a drag-and-drop design interface, it eliminates the need for advanced programming skills.

SPSS Visualization Designer allows you to visually portray and communicate analytics to others.

Social analytics comments analysis

This visualization shows co-occurrences of terms in short messages. Nodes represent terms in the messages, edges represent frequencies those terms occur together in the same message, and categories represent a grouping of related terms.

Social Analytics comments analysis

Temperatures by month

This visualization shows a set of ocean temperature readings over a period of many years. Each month is shown as a radial boxplot, with the outliers colored to indicate in which year that unusual reading was taken.

Literary analysis

Each sentence in Rudyard Kipling's "The Jungle Book" is arrayed around the outside of the circle, in order. Any words identified as important have been placed at the average position of the sentences in which they appear, and linked to those sentences via thin lines. The result shows approximately where important terms (like character names) appear in the document, as well as which characters are mentioned in the same areas of the book (e.g. "baloo" and "bagheera").

Literary analysis

Stacked density chart

This is a stacked density chart that shows a smoothed version of a stacked histogram of number of defects (with rankings) by date.
