Ce kit d'outils complète Rational Software Architect afin de simuler et valider les architectures et leurs comportements avant implémentation.

Rational Software Architect Simulation Toolkit offre :

  • Une prise en charge d'UML, y compris l'exécution de modèles Unified Modeling Language (UML) 2 Activity, UML Interaction, UML State Machines et les comportements opaques exprimés dans UML Action Language (UAL).
  • La visualisation, en affichant les informations d'exécution avec une animation visuelle des diagrammes de comportement durant l'exécution.
  • Le débogage, y compris le débogage au niveau modèle avec contrôle détaillé de l'exécution (exécution pas à pas, points d'arrêt, interruptions, reprises, terminaison, redémarrage, injection d'événements et des invites à l'exécution).
  • Le traçage de topologie, si utilisé avec IBM Rational Software Architect Extension for Deployment Planning. Il vous permet de voir comment les messages échangés entre les participants des comportements UML transitent dans les noeuds de l'infrastructure, lorsque les participants sont répartis dans l'infrastructure à l'aide d'un modèle de topologie de déploiement.
