• Anwendungen und Services, die direkt oder über den Java Message Service in WebSphere MQ integriert sind, können daher asynchron Daten übernehmen, wenn diese geändert werden. Datenbankereignisse können dadurch Geschäftsprozesse anstoßen und Änderungen in Anwendungen durchführen, ohne dass die auf Datenereignissen basierende Integration beeinträchtigt wird.
• So kann eine schnellere Markteinführung basierend auf einer Integration erfolgen, die das Ereignis an einem zentralen Ort erfasst.
• Minimiert Bandbreitenerfordernisse und sorgt für eine engere Synchronisation der Datenbanken. Damit werden aktuelle Informationen für die Entscheidungsfindung bereitgestellt, indem Änderungen an ETL-Tools (ETL = Extrahieren, Transformieren, Laden) wie InfoSphere DataStage oder selbstentwickelte Prozesse zur Aktualisierung von Speichern für operative Daten, Data-Warehouses, Datenmarts oder andere Datenziele übertragen werden.
• Erfasst Datenbankänderungen in IMS, VSAM, Computer Associates CA-IDMS oder Software AG Adabas während aktiver Protokoll- und Journalverarbeitungen oder durch Auslesen quellenspezifischer Wiederherstellungsprotokolle und bietet damit hohe Zuverlässigkeit und Wiederherstellbarkeit, die Ergebnisse nahezu in Echtzeit liefert. Die erfassten Daten werden automatisch in ein konsistentes Format für relationale Datenbanken umformatiert, bevor sie in WebSphere MQ veröffentlicht werden, um die Integrationsmöglichkeiten zu vereinfachen und zu maximieren.
• InfoSphere Classic Data Event Publisher for z/OS V9.5 bietet eine neue Schnittstelle für die Veröffentlichung, die von InfoSphere DataStage und InfoSphere DataStage for Linux aufSystem z verwendet werden kann, und stellt eine robuste IMS- und VSAM Changed Data Capture bereit, die die Erfassung von Datenänderungen mit geringer Latenzzeit bei signifikant vereinfachten Verarbeitungsprozessen für die Wiederherstellbarkeit ermöglicht.
• Erweiterungen für Classic Data Architect (CDA) automatisieren die Erstellung von Metadaten und erweitern die visuellen Metadaten auf komplexere Szenarios. InfoSphere Classic Federation Server V9.5 unterstützt auch die dynamische Konfigurationsverwaltung über eine grafische Benutzerschnittstelle.
