IBM® Tivoli® OMEGAMON® XE for CICS® on z/OS® provides system monitoring and performance management for IBM System z® including IBM zEnterprise®. It centrally monitors and manages IBM CICS transactions and interactions with other applications. This product provides an intuitive 3270 user interface (e3270UI), across the entire OMEGAMON family, which can integrate enterprise-wide views of the environment on a single screen.

Tivoli OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS:

Speeds problem resolution and increases availability. This product requires fewer steps to find the cause of a CICS performance problem.
Improves visibility of the CICS environment. You can group CICS regions into CICSPlex reporting groups for simplified reporting. You can use existing CICSPlex System Manager (CPSM) definitions or define CICSPlexes using simple rules.
Uses IBM Tivoli Monitoring capabilities to reduce the time spent managing CICS systems. These functions include self-describing agents and PARMGEN, a parameter-based installation option. PARMGEN simplifies the installation, configuration and management of the OMEGAMON family.
Allows execution of the Service Level Analysis component of OMEGAMON XE for CICS on z/OS on an IBM System z Integrated Information Processor (zIIP), which can provide significant savings in mainframe million instructions per second (MIPS).
