CICS Transaction Gateway for z/OS V9.0 provides scalable, secure and standards-based connectivity to CICS TS for z/OS applications for multiple users. It is the recommended deployment platform for the highest qualities of service—for availability, performance, security and transactions.

  • Open integration with CICS from WebSphere Application Server for z/OS and a wide variety of client application environments, including Java, C++, and Microsoft .NET (C# and Visual Basic) running on major platforms

  • Usage statistics, enabling capacity planning and performance monitoring are written as SMF type-111 record for in-depth, offline analysis using IBM CICS Performance Analyzer for z/OS

  • Integration with CICS Explorer provides an intuitive, easy-to-use way of managing Gateway daemons with built-in Gateway and CICS test functions
